Thursday Thirteen #98 (Thirteen “Pop” Songs on my iPod)
Wednesday, February 20, 2008 10:42 AM
I am being so unoriginal that I am using an iPod theme again. As you can see, if you are my regular readers, I have not been posting much lately. Even on Thursday, I try to do the quickest list possible. I have been spending too much time on Facebook playing Scrabble with a few of my blog friends! Haha! (No, it’s just been so hectic).
Now, these songs are on my iPod, but I do not actually listen to them (all the time)! I AM SO EMBARRASSED ADMITTING SOME OF THESE!
- Can’t Help Falling in Love - A*Teens
- Heaven Is A Place on Earth - Belinda Carlisle
- Reflection - Christina Aguilera
- Unchained Melody -Justin Guraini
- You’re Beautiful - James Blunt
- The Glory of Love - The Lettermen
- Cry - Mandy Moore
- Thriller – Michael Jackson
- I’m A Believer – The Monkees
- After All – Peter Cetera
- The Moment of Truth – Survivor
- Mama – II Divo
- Start of Something New – High School Musical Soundtrack
Read more TT’s here.

You’re embarrassed? I think I know #4, 6, 8, and 10! I know the one from the Monkees. I’m the pathetic one!

Seems like some pretty good choices to me!
I can’t get enough of 4 and9! Great choices.
I know two of them. Not embarrassed!
Regardless of his problems, Michael Jackson’s Thriller will always be a favorite of mine.
I haven’t heard Thriller in ages
Great list!!!

I think I might have your “I’m a Believer” beat…I have “I Think I Love You” by the Partridge Family on mine!!!
Oh….and looking at your sidebar…The Lovely Bones is a beautiful novel!
“Thriller”, “I’m A Believer”, and “Heaven Is A Place On Earth” are pretty good tunes. Seeing “The Moment of Truth” on your list has me replaying scenes from “The Karate Kid”. “Wax on, wax off”.
I don’t have any of the songs on my playlist but I would like to add some Monkees songs to my list in the future. Happy TT.
I would have thes:># Unchained Melody -Justin Guraini
# You’re Beautiful – James Blunt
# The Glory of Love
Hurray for scrabble!
I hope you are doing well – if only just too busy! I don’t have any of those songs. I’m suspecting that they are longer than 4 minutes….
I don’t see a thing wrong with that list. Of course, my iPod houses everything from Willie Nelson to The Bay City Rollers to Pink. *shrugging shoulders*

I don’t have these on my playlist but I am not judging you.
Have a great week girl!!!
YAY! I ♥ the ipod-lists. You´ve got a lot of my favorite pop-songs on your ipod
Please visit my T 13: All about SPAM if you find time!
II Divo…Love
Where’s the Dean Martin? No iPod is complete without Dean Martin’s music!!
I like the TT. Some of the songs I know, but they were sung by other singers. Nice job.
I don’t have an Ipod. I rarely listen to music because I prefer the TV. If I had one, my choices would be pop too.
Wow, half of them are on my list should I make one. Looove those songs
Ohh I have some of those too!

Interesting mix of songs … some I’m familiar with and others I’m not As my dad would have told me … “If it makes you happy, I’m happy too.”
Hugs and blessings,
I like you song list! Have fun playing scrabble!
ahhhhhhhhhh you sound like a true romantic…….ok, all but the michael jackson thing lol

happy t13
Actually that is a really great list of songs!
Believe me, you would shudder if you saw the list on mine!
=)
I did an Ipod list too because I was extremly unmotivated this morning. Oh well.
Have you ever heard Weird Al’s version of You’re Beautiful entitled You’re Pitiful? It cracks me up but I can never hear the original without superimposing Weird Al’s lyrics.
We share three from this list. So if you’re embarrassed admitting them, I guess I should be, too!
There’s nothing embarrassing on this list!
great list! i love music. my ipod is embarrassing too.
The Glory of Love is an awesome song.
