My favorite time of year is upon us! I LOVE Thanksgiving! Yes, even more than Christmas! So, in the month of November, I am going to try to list thirteen things each week that make me smile or want to give thanks. What are some of your things?
- Tootsie Rolls
- Baby kisses
- TiVo
- Candy Corn
- UNO
- Crayola Crayons
- Road Trips
- Disneyland
- Slushies
- Hearing my son whistle.
- “I Love You’s” from my son.
- Chocolate chip cookies
- Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches

GREAT list! I have a Tivo (actually three of them) and I couldn’t imagine life without them. I also love Disney – although for me it’s Disney World as I live near there. And tootsie rolls – love ‘em! I miss playing UNO – nobody I know likes to play games.

Oh yeah, I love a lot of these too–Uno, road trips, slushies, chocolate chip cookes (heck, any kind of cookie) and my son’s “I Love You.”
Great list…you can never hear “I love you” too much from anyone. Especially your babies. Baby kisses are great too!! Happy TT my friend.

This is a wonderful list. I am with you on all of them. Tonight my daughter said, “Come here and give me a hug.” That’s a moment I could add to this list and call my own! God bless, and thanks for drawing my attention to the simple things.

Great list – I can ditto almost all of those. Don’t have any babies around for kisses but I’ll take them from my 5, 8 and 10yo.
Works for me….I would add baby laughter from my grand daughter.

Oh how I covet TiVo. Being thankful brings happiness.
I’m with you on road trips and baby kisses. So I guess a road trip to get baby kisses would be primo.

I love all those things! But I would replace Candy Corn with Bit O Honey – I know..isn’t festive, but I am so thankful for them. AND – the other thing I love around the holidays are the old Christmas shows – Charlie Brown, Frosty, and now Polar Express. Oh…I also love my MIL’s “Texas Sheet Cake” – yum!!
The little things are just as important to be thankful for!
