Thursday Thirteen #54 (Thirteen “Popular” Shows That I Do Watch)
Wednesday, April 4, 2007 7:00 AM
Last week, I listed the shows that I do not watch on television. This week, I decided to list the shows that I love. As soon as I made my list, I realized that I watch too much television!
- 24
- House
- American Idol
- Survivor
- Bones
- CSI: Crime Scene Investigation
- CSI: New York
- Criminal Minds
- Close to Home
- Law and Order: SVU
- Cold Case
- LOST
- Without a Trace
My goodness, I DO watch a lot of T.V.!
Read more TT’s here.

And you watch A LOT of crime shows! LOL! Maybe you should have been a cop.

Hi there, I’ve watched all of these shows at least once. My regulars are CSI Vegas, Criminal Minds, Lost, and Law and Order: SVU. Happy TT!

Oooo, and Lost is new tonight! I watch a lot of TV too, at least I’m working while I watch LOL
. Happy TT!
I haven’t watched Lost yet, you know the old excuse, another show I don’t have time for, lol. But I do love Cold Case and have goose bumps during the end shots every week! No CSI Miami?
I also love LOST! Its on in a little over an hour!
I used to love 24 but this season leaves alot to be desired. OH CRAP, LOST is on right now!

I’ve never seen 24, survivor, bones, criminal minds, close to home, cold case, lost or without a trace!! I haven’t watched CSI Crime Scene Investigation in months – I don’t remember the last time! Although I used to LOVE it. Same with Law and Order SVU. I saw the NY version once, I think. The two I watch on the list are House and American Idol, but I’m behind on House – Love Tivo!! The other show we’ve watched some is Heroes, but not for weeks. It’s a little weird for me (freaky) but Max likes it. I mainly watch Oprah and Fox News, Oh, and part of the Today show first thing in the morning, but their so liberal I usually end up turning it off! Still feel like I watch too much t.v., but when I think about it, I’m too busy with the boys most days… I barely check your blog these days!! At least you haven’t blogged as much so I haven’t missed too much. Besides, I see you almost every day!! hee hee

L&O SVU rocks! I had a reader ask me if I had to kill off either Benson or Stabler which one would I pick. I’m having a hard time coming up with an answer… Wanna help?
I have CSI at the top of my list…along with NCIS. Great list!!!
Happy TT! Congrats on the feature!!!
I’m with you on LOST (omg – did you see it tonight?) and House.
You’re missing some of the best tv there is! Specifically, Prison Break, The Shield and Rescue Me!
So, you seem to be trying to learn to tortue people, hide the evidence and how the legal system works, just in case.
The only show on that list I watch is AI.
We love Bones, House and AI here too!
Happy Thursday.
I like 24, House, and Lost (also Heroes). I’ve heard some of the others are good — but we have so many obsessions already….
I like almost all of those, although I wouldn’t claim to be a faithful fan of them. I really love heroes.
Happy TT!
no, you watch alot of very tense shows!
I watch Survivor, LOST, and CSI (when I can) – none of the rest.
From what I hear, Sanjaya will be the rock that sinks American Idol. I am half-way tempted to watch the show just to see that happen
I watch house. The end.
Lovely Wife, however, watches all of these. She’s the Queen Of The DVR.
Um… I watch Lost on DVD, does that count?
House and American Idol are the only two of these that I watch. I heart House, but this week was a bummer…here in the DFW area we only got to see about half the show because the news people broke in with weather updates. I hope to catch it on a rerun.
I got sucked back into AI this season, and it’s quite the fascinating train wreck to watch. It will be interesting to see how the Sanjaya debacle plays out.
Great TT!

Well, I watch half of those show, I would like to watch a quarter of the rest, but always forget about them, or there is something else at the same time, there is only Survivor and Law and order I cannot get into… So good list, and I guess I watch too much tv me too!!
House – it’s great watching HL proving how good he is at drama having grown up with him as a comedian.
Wow…the only one on that list that I watch is House. (Actually, that isn’t true. In the evenings I have the TV on, providing background noise, tuned to Spike TV and CSI.)
So for next week, can you make a list of how many TV series which you own multiple seasons on DVD?
I’ve seen AI a few times, but none of the rest. Now what does that say about ME?? LOL!
Cool! You’re a mystery/crime show fan like me! I also really like House, but I have to record it and watch it later when my husband isn’t around because he doesn’t share my love of that show.
Of your list, I have never seen 12 even once. I have watched House a couple of times but lost interest.
We watch 2, 5, 6, 8 and 10 pretty religiously around here. NCIS makes our list too. I missed most of their seasons these past 2 years traveling. Good thing they’re readily available on DVD without too much waiting (House especially).
If you enjoy reading, you might like Kathy Reich’s books. The series Bones is loosely based (and I do mean LOOSE) around her Temperance Brennan character. I’m still getting used to the differences between the book Tempe and the TV Tempe, but Reich’s can tell a very good story…
I like all of those shows except Law and Order. I think we all watch too much TV but there are many great shows!
LOST is an excellent show. Since it plays on Wednesday’s, church night, I get the episodes sent to me very week by iTunes. I purchased the entire season.
