Thursday Thirteen #112 (Thirteen Things That I Have Done This Week)
Wednesday, June 4, 2008 7:36 AM
I am in a hurry today, so this will be a quick TT. I hope you all have a great week!
- Went to Brendan’s soccer game. They lost by one, but it was a great game!
- Went to an Open House for the new school I will be teaching at this fall. Met some really wonderful people.
- Went here! Yum-yum!
- Went to church. It was a great service too. I needed it.
- Went to Gilroy Gardens. It is not a huge amusement park, but just perfect enough if you have young children. It has a great family atmosphere and so relaxing, especially when you go with the people you love.
- Slept in! Just a little bit. Brendan has been out of school for a week, and it’s been great! No rushing around in the morning for a few weeks!
- Taught piano lessons. Most of my students take a break during the summer, but I still have a few that are staying with it. Thankfully! I do need the money.
- Babysat Jenika. I will only have her until the summer is over. I will miss that little one.
- Played Scrabulous with my dad and Jay. They are tough competitors. I think Jay cheats! Haha!
- Played Cash Cow 2 on my son’s Webkinz site. Don’t laugh! It’s addicting.
- Oh, also fed his reindeer on Webkinz. The little guy was hungry, and Brendan was not around to feed him!
- Watched Toy Story 1 and 2 with Brendan. I love these movies!
- Did a Thursday Thirteen! Okay, I needed one more.
Read more TT’s here.

WHAT? CHEATS?!? That hurts!
I think it’s my turn. *gets big fancy words dictionary out* LOL
Is today Thursday?!?!?! Nooooo it’s Wednesday … great now I am confused
Sounds like you’ve had a busy week. Happy TT.

I’m on summer break, and I’m about 1/10 as busy as you. I don’t know how you do it all.
I need to visit the amusement park again. It’s been two or three years. I love the headaches it brings on!

Congrats on the new teaching job…what grade will you be teaching…sorry I am new to your blog and have not read previous posts yet…but I am off to read now….
Nice week you had! I LOVE Olive Garden. And the Toy Story movies–I’ve seen the first one at least ten times and the second only a few less! Haha!
Happy TT!
Wow you have been busy. I had a hard time fitting in time for a TT because of being busy. I like your idea of listing how busy you are. I ended doing quotes I already had. Some weeks it’s hard to fit everything in. Have a great weedend. Happy TT
Oh man…I love to sleep in!!!
And, do you know what else I love? All those stupid and addictive games on Webkinz. They make me crazy that I can’t stop. (Cash Cow 2 is one of my favorites. Although, Home Before Dark is probably my actual favorite.)
Except for the sleeping in it looks like you were always on the go.
I have been wanting to visit Gilroy Gardens for years! More motivation to actually do it
ooo, maybe in conjunction with the garlic festival!!
that link to other thursday thirteens actually goes to the imdb site for toy story 2
also, i haven’t been to olive garden in a while, but i have to say, their commercials are hilariously awful. and the way they capitalize their tagline makes me laugh every time because it sounds like they are saying they’re part of the mafia. and i’m italian!
i wrote about general fun, not summer fun like amusement parks, this week – but it is all stuff i want to do more of this summer for sure!
Isn’t it great not to have the pressure of homework and schedules—at least for a little while? I remember those days!
Sounds like a great week. I LOVE Olive Garden!
sounds like a great weeek

That’s a lot that you’ve done this week! Going to church is always important. I’m surprised, though, that you didn’t watch a VeggieTales episode! They’re the best!

Oh, they lost by one point? That’s tough! Sounds like you’ve had a good week.
I went to my son’s soccer game last weekend, too. He scored four goals!! That was huge for him; usually, he has an assist or two.
Happy TT! Yeah, maybe one day, the Sharks will win the Cup. Right now, though, it’s Detroit’s.
Sleeping late sounds wonderful!
I love Toy Story!
Hope you’re weekend is as nice.
Sounds like a great week. You’re not the only one addicted to Webkinz games. I was playing Cash Cow 1 and 2 and Home Before Dark yesterday to rake in some cash for the boys.

I have come to appreciate the healing properties of “sleeping in.” Good for you! (Thanks for visiting my TT)
I dig Scrabulous, rarely win, but have fun losing.
Happy TT
OMG! You have a busy bee this week. I envy your #6. Hahaha! Hope the weekend goes easier.
Busy week! Thanks for visiting my TT!
I didn’t realize you are a teacher…I have so much respect and admiration for teachers…my own hubby is one!
I’ll have to check out “Scrabulous”…is it like “Scrabble”? Love Scrabble, but haven’t played it in ages.
Stop by my TT when you get a moment!
Definitely a busy week.
Hope you liked the new school.
Happy TT!
