I am a mother of one beautiful six year old boy, and I am a Die-hard Oakland A's fan. I was a history and algebra teacher for nine years before my son came into my life, then became a stay-at-home mom. That has been one of my greatest joys.

I love to play the piano and now I teach other children how to play piano too.

For Christmas, Daddy Santa put a $75 gift certificate for iTunes. I still have not decided what songs I will buy yet, so please give me any suggestions. :) I like all types of music, with the exception of rap and hard rock.

    Hmm .. well I WAS going to recommend a bunch of great hip-hop CDs, but I don’t know now.

    You can’t go wrong with anything by Dean Martin or Frank Sinatra.

    Just please no Rascal Flats. Worst band EVER! ;-)

    Right now I’m also listening to “All the Pretty Faces” by The Killers over and over again.
