About Me
Name: Chelle Y.

I am a mother of one beautiful six year old boy, and I am a Die-hard Oakland A's fan. I was a history and algebra teacher for nine years before my son came into my life, then became a stay-at-home mom. That has been one of my greatest joys.

I love to play the piano and now I teach other children how to play piano too.

Say What?

Monday, November 24, 2008 11:47 AM

Conversation heard from my classroom:

Wesley:  “Aunt Chelle is using the boy’s bathroom?”

Collin:   “She always does.”

Explanation:

I have a door in my classroom that leads straight to the boy’s bathroom.  It is so convenient for the boys in my class (I do not have any girls), but most of the time I use it too.  It helps me  because I do not have to walk so far to the girl’s bathroom, and I can still keep an “ear” open when I leave the class.  Of course, the door is shut and I never use it when the boys are in there.

My nephew, Wesley, did not have school today, so he came with me to visit our new school.  He had actually wanted to attend, but it is just too far away right now.  Anyway, I think he was a little confused when his crazy aunt decided to “use the bathroom.” :)
