I Do Have A Blond!

Okay, I am not writing this to make fun of my blond headed friends. Most of them are very smart, including my son, but there are moments when I say to him, “WHAT!?!”
One of those moments came last night when I was watching the A’s/Giant’s game in my bedroom. My brother-in-law had called me because he needed me to send him some pictures off my computer. So, I went into the living room to do as he bidded, but turned on the television, so I would not miss any of the game.
A few minutes later, Brendan came into the room, and saw what I was watching on T.V.
“Mommy! The A’s are totally smoking tonight! I was in your bedroom watching them on t.v. and they were winning! Then, I came in here and they are winning too! Wow!”
Oh, please tell me he was kidding…. NOT! (Too bad it does not really work that way. They (the A’s) would have a chance at a winning season, if it did, haha).

Then….
I took him to see The Incredible Hulk this weekend, which by the way, really was better than I had thought it would be at first.
There is a scene in the movie where Bruce Banner is watching television, and Grover (from Sesame Street) comes on the screen.
“Oh, look Mommy! Elmo!”
“Sweetie, that’s not Elmo. It’s Grover.”
“But, he’s on Elmo’s Show.”
“Do you mean, Sesame Street?”
“What’s Sesame Street?”
Oh, no! Did my “baby” miss Sesame Street? How could I have let that happen? WHAT KIND OF MOTHER AM I!?!

So funny!

HAHAHA I cannot believe he does know sesame street (my kids do not know either!) I lived for that show as a kid!
That’s hilarious! Poor kid, thought the A’s were making up ground 2 games at a time!
Hey, at least with blondes, they really DO learn something new each day. Unfortunately, it’s sometimes the same thing they learned the day before. Hehe. I’m kidding!
