Hello!

I wanted to stop by and say a quick “hello,” and fill you in my “life’s adventures” so far this past week.
Last, Sunday, one of the most exciting things happened to me! A friend of mine, texted me late Saturday night (thankfully, I was awake watching Michael Phelps win his eighth gold medal) telling me that she had four “incredible tickets” to the A’s game on Sunday, which they could not use, and “did I want them?”
I said, “Yes!” At the moment, I did not realize “how incredible,” but I called my brother and invited him to come with Brendan and me.
Well…. we were two rows behind homeplate. But that’s not all….. They led us into a “secret” entrance, which happened to be the same entrance that the ballplayers use. I was able to meet some of “my boys,” and get their autographs too.
Also, we were fed all day. Yes, FREE FOOD, FREE PARKING, FREE EVERYTHING! (Oh, and the seats were padded, haha)
I told my brother during the game, “This is what it must feel like to be rich!” Haha. Really, I cannot image being able to afford seats like that all season, but most of the people in that section do. WOW!
Anyway, Brendan and I even made it on the Jumbotron. Yes, and I was dorky enough to take a picture of it for proof!
We had so much fun, that I did not care the they were beaten so badly by the White Sox.
It’s been really crazy getting ready for school. I am almost wondering why I agreed to teach again!?! Wish me luck!

Sittin’ with the rich folks! How cool is that? I’ve scored some 50 yard line football seats in the past. It’s so much fun to get to sit in the awesome seats. And by “awesome” I mean padded. LOL
How awesome is that?! See, just when you need a pick-me-up, fate provides.
Wow, what a great way to end the summer.
That is very cool!! You must have had a smile on your face the whole time.
Jay: Yeah, my behind did not hurt once during that whole game!
Tink: That was one of the best “pick-me-ups” ever!
Susan: The best in my opinion! Haha!
Amber: My brother took a picture of Brendan and me, and under the caption he typed, “Chelle isn’t excited, is she?” I got not stop smiling. Even the fact of them losing by so much could not wipe the smile off my face!
That is really great! I’m glad you had a good time. We were actually at the game the day before! Pretty nifty getting padded seats, I can’t say the same for my hiney! Ouch! =-)
