Happy Birthday, Brendan!

Today, my little buddy has turned eight. EIGHT! Where has the time gone? As much as I love the fact that he is growing up and learning new things, I am still sad to see it go so quickly. He truly has been an amazing gift from God.
There is one thing that I am thankful he has not learned yet. I am not ready for that one! 
“Mommy, wouldn’t it be funny if Minnie (cat) and Sydney (dog) could have a baby?”
“Honey, that is not possible. Dogs and cats do not have babies together. Besides, they are both girls. You need a boy to help with that.
“Why a boy? Why do you need a boy?”
Silence.
“Mommy? Mommy? Why do you need a boy? What does a boy do?”
I could not answer him, because I was laughing too hard.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! awww wow 8!!!! What a big boy!

Oh my gosh, Wyatt has been asking and asking things like this lately, too! I told him some things, but I think we are going to have to tell more soon. I don’t want him talk to other kids, and hear whatever their parents told them… i am not ready to do that! LOL! But he asked me what “gay” was the other day. I guess kids were name calling at school, an dhe heard it. *sigh*
